Yokogawa Electric (www.yokogawa.com) has
introduced a four-channel oscilloscope that comes with up to 16-bit logic inputs
— the DL7440 Digital Oscilloscope.
Offered in a convenient, benchtop-sized
package, the oscilloscope does not only enable users to capture up to 16 logic
signals, it also allows for simultaneous measuring of up to four analog signals
without synchronizing two independent oscilloscopes.
Most oscilloscopes featuring high sampling
rates may not accurately capture waveforms if their memory size can not
adequately sustain the monitoring period. DL7440’s large record memory
effectively increases monitoring time while allowing users to keep a high
sampling rate, and ensure an accurate waveform monitoring. Its zoom in feature
can be utilized to observe images on one or two segments of the captured
waveform.
Designed with a history memory function,
the oscilloscope separates large recording memory into a number of segments
while automatically saving a maximum of 4,096 captured waveforms. Setting a
shorter record length allows users to increase the number of screens saved to
history memory.
